"Everything happens for a reason..."

That's what everyone has told me my entire life, and I never used to believe it.  In fact, before Carl and I met each other, I think we both seriously doubted if we would ever find the "love of our lives."  Then, perfect timing on the dating website match.com enabled us to connect, start talking, and meet each other for the first time.  And the rest, as they say, is history.  We started dating and fell in love.  And after over three years together, which has included fixing up my late grandmother's old farmhouse and moving in together; adopting our puppy, Annabelle; many struggles and successes, several adventures, and lots and lots of laughter, Carl finally proposed!  I am getting married to my best friend and the "love of my life," and I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual with Carl!

So now I truly do believe that everything happens for a reason.  I may not always understand or agree with it, but I feel like our love story, "Tiff and Carl," is pretty good evidence of that belief.

Carl and I decided to have our wedding in the outdoors on my parents' dairy farm, because it truly reflects who we are.  We both grew up on farms, and the values and lessons that we learned as a result of our experiences, helped shape who we are.  This is something that we have in common and both treasure, so what better way to get married than with a laid-back, country style wedding?  Because it will be outside in early May, we are keeping our fingers crossed for nice weather, but please dress accordingly.  Remember, our style is casual and we want you to be comfortable so that you can really enjoy our special day with us!  We are so excited to celebrate our love!!

Our reception will be full of fun and good times, no matter the weather, with yummy home-style BBQ for food, great music, and dancing!  It will begin immediately following the ceremony with a cocktail hour on my parents' front lawn and then the reception to follow under the big white tent.

Carl and I would like to thank all of you, our dearest friends and family, for being such an important part of our lives.  You have all been a part of our journey and have witnessed our love story unfold.  We are so excited to get married and share our special day with you!  And we are so grateful for all of the love, support, and laughter that you contribute to our lives on a daily basis!
