We met in February of 2006 I first heard his country voice over the phone and I think I fell in love before we even met. We talked on the phone a couple times, he could not make it to our first date because it was snowing and he lost his place in line, I told him to take another number because this was going to be the summer of Brooke. Little did the either of us know it would be summer of Brooke AND Michael. We finally went on our first date in February, the 18th, we went to dinner and Dave and Busters, had a good time but we were both so nervous it took over the date! We had a great time together though, and planned another date for the following weekend. After that date we were inseparable, he started coming down every weekend and sometimes in the middle of the week he would take the two hour drive just to spend one night with me. We quickly fell in love and we were both so thankful to have found each other. After graduation Michael moved in with me and started a new job, we settled into living together like we never lived apart. We had talked about marriage and the future but since our relationship was still so young I did not think he would be popping the question any time soon! Well October came around and he mentioned to me he wanted to go have a nice dinner somewhere, would not tell me where and when but there we were on a Wednesday, it’s pouring and we get all dressed up to have dinner in Atlanta. We wind up at the Sun Dial have a beautiful dinner even with the pouring rain and all the waitress keep telling us “congratulations” of course my mind starts thinking but Michael fooled me once again and said he told them it was our anniversary. Dinner ends, I am full and am ready to go home, but Michael keeps dragging me around the place, now I know he was trying to pick a spot to get down on one knee…but stubborn as I am we head to the elevator. He asked me in the elevator of the Sun Dial on the way down with a “Will you do me a favor?” All it took was me seeing the ring and the uncontrollable sobbing started, I could barely tell my parents because I was crying so hard. Of course I said yes, and now we are on our way to starting a wonderful life together. Overall Michael and I feel so blessed to have met each other, there were many events that lead up to our meeting and now our life is better for all of them…we can’t wait to be Mr. and Mrs. Michael Coble.
