Believe it or not we did actually meet in a bar...a karaoke bar to be exact! I finally gave into a friend I had met in Graduate School at ASU West to come out with a group of friends and sing karaoke on Thursday nights. Phil had just moved to the Valley, and was invited by his cousin Jason to join this same group of friends. Although it took Phil a few months to finally call me and ask me out, we hit it off immediately, and two and a half years has gone by in a blink. We've already experienced more trials in our lives than most couples do in ten years of a relationship! Still we've endured, had some fantastic times, travels, and experiences and we can't wait to enjoy the rest of our lives together.

We are having the wedding and reception at a beautiful Tuscan Style Villa called Villa Siena in Gilbert, Arizona. Gilbert is about 15 miles south east of North Phoenix where we live. The wedding will be held in the Villa's courtyard, Piazza Toscana, at dusk on February 24, 2006. Afterwards we will adjourn to the ballroom, La Stanza Firenze, for food, drinks, dancing and celebration! If you want to see what the Villa looks like go to their website at www.villasiena.cc. For those of you living in the Valley, the best way to get to Villa Siena is to take the 101 Loop and exit at Elliot Road. Then head East on Elliot for several miles. You will see the Villa on the North side of the road, right after the McQueen intersection. For those of you flying in, you will need to book into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX). We will be finding accomodation between our home and our families' for all of our out of town guests, and will be contacting you each separately as the wedding approaches.
