Julene: We met in August 2003 at a Country/Western bar called the Grizzley Rose, in Denver. I saw him standing at the bar and thought, "I think I'll go talk to that huge guy over there." I did. We went on a date in Boulder, where he lived at the time. We were together every weekend that both of us were in Colorado from then on. He asked me to marry him not long after we met, and I told him that I'd let him know when I was ready. Well, I was ready in 2005 and we set the date for July 2006. Keith: When we met, I was the first to say I'd marry her. She thought I was crazy because I had said it within an hour. Then, on our first date, I thought I was crazy. She kept throwing a football at my head. By the third date, I knew I would be marrying her.

Keith: We will be marrying close to where she grew up, because she feels most comfortable there. It is near where her parents and brother live. After being there, it is a place that I feel very comfortable too. Julene: We will be getting married on a hillside in Yankee, on my parents' land. This is a place where I have spent many hours thinking about my past, present, and future. It means a great deal to me and it is where I feel part of nature. What better place to take the next BIG step in my future? Of course, Keith just wants me to be his wife. He doesn't care where that happens. He just wants me to be happy.

Julene: We are not having a reception in the traditional sense. We are having a dance in my parents' dancehall. A great band will be playing for us. We will have appetizers, a cake, and plenty of alcohol! I think it is going to be fantastic! Keith: I think the reception is going to be a very, very fun time! Hopefully, everyone will have a great time.

Keith: I hope we don't get eaten by sharks! Julene: We are going to Cozumel, Mexico, and are staying at an all-inclusive resort. We are looking forward to spending some time on the beach and are considering snorkelling, beach volleyball, and kayaking.
