Sean and Shireen (Nikki) met as children in the sixth grade when Nikki moved across the street from Sean. However, the two didn't begin dating until Sean returned from college. Their friendship and love grew through the years and despite the ups and downs, love prevailed, and they look forward to their love for each other growing even stronger throughout the rest of their lives together.
While at the home of Sean's parents with Nicholas (Nikki's son) in attendance, Sean approached Nikki, dropped to one knee, and asked, "Nikki, I love you to the depths of my soul and I would like to spend the rest of my life showing you... Will You Marry Me?" Nikki without hesitation proudly accepted, "Yes".
