Our story actually began years before we even met. Sandy, who is like a second mother to me would tell me about her Chiropractor for years. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that Sandy's doctor would end up being the love of my life. It wasn't until late 2013 when the man whom I always heard of would enter my life. We eventually met thru Bunke and Sandy and unknown to us they were devising a plan to set us up. A few months later Sandy called me saying, "Lets go out to dinner.". Meanwhile, Bunke invited Kim to that same dinner. We eventually figured out that they were setting us up on a date & we ended up talking for 8 hours. I remember telling my friends in Orlando about Kim. I distinctly remember saying, "It's so weird with him. It's like we are on the same wavelength". Little did I know that many of my friends believed that Kim was the one. In fact, I remember my friend Ralph smiling and saying, "Yeah, you are going to marry this guy". At that point we had only been dating a month and I said, "Haha. Very funny". After almost 6 months, Kim professed his love to me with a beautiful speech and gorgeous necklace as a symbol of his love while on our way to Riviera Maya, Mexico. We got engaged almost 2 years later and on our 3 year anniversary, Kim surprised me with a frame of the speech he said when he proposed. We chose to have a long engagement due to my schooling. Now, we will finally be able to profess our love in front of all our loved ones in Riviera Maya. |
