Let me tell you about our story! Dusty and I met in January 2007. My family knew Dusty was the guy for me before I knew he was the guy for me! :o) My family invited Dusty to my cousins quince era where we talked and danced all night. Dusty and I scheduled our first date that night for the following Wednesday. It is after that first date, I fell in love and we have been together ever since!
Dusty proposed on Valentine’s Day 2008. He sent me a bouquet of roses to my classroom, which I received while I was teaching. My students love every minute of it! Then that evening, we were getting dressed to go out to celebrate Valentine’s Day, when he told me to open my present. Well, to make a long story short…inside empty box after empty box finally I reached a tiny box. When I opened it, the first thing I saw was a message that read: “Will you marry me?” I said yes of course. To this day, I have the ring my mother gave us for our engagement. The ring was her ring which was her grandmother’s ring!
Dusty, I, my family, his family, and our friends are having a fun time planning our wedding.

Our wedding will be in Kearney, NE on July 4, 2009 in the afternoon. Actual ceremony time to be announced. We know it will be no later than 5 and no earlier than 4! The ceremony location more than likely will be at the Merryman Performing Arts Center. Our wedding colors are black, purple, silver, and white! Our wedding flowers are going to be purple and white calla lilies.
We are expecting 250-320 guests. It will be a true party! ;0) Speaking of parties, our bridal party is rather large. I will have five bridesmaids, two flower girls, and two candle lighters. Dusty will have five groomsmen, one ring bearer, and two ushers.

Our wedding reception will be in Kearney, NE on July 4, 2009 at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds Ag Pavillion immediately following the ceremony. The guests will be welcome to enjoy a cocktail hour with a chocolate fountain, fresh fruit, pretzels., crackers, cookies, and refreshing beverages They will also be able to enjoy a slideshow. Our wedding reception will be July 4 with a hockey twist yet be elegant and traditional. This makes planning fun!
When we arrive, the party will get started! ;o) The guests will enjoy a summer barbecue feast and refreshing beverages. Menus will be available. The guests will also enjoy the music provided by our DJ-Complete Music. Get ready to have some fun!
