Kimberly Stovall & Steven Glasker

Our Story

We first saw each other as Steve stepped on the church bus for a trip to see "The Promise" with our singles group on November 1, 2008. I happened to be sitting by an open window on the hot bus and he sat next to me "to catch the breeze". We ended up chatting all the way there, sat next to each other during the performance and chatted all the way back. Steve, James and I went to eat at IHOP afterwards and talked until around 2 am. The next morning, Sunday, we were a little tired but all three made it to church. Since I was on call during the month of November I was able to go to church and hang out with the group. Steve and I became best friends that month. We began dating, December 8, 2008. Our entire meeting and courtship has been such a "God Thing". We are both totally amazed at the deepness of our friendship and love. Only God could have brought this about. There have been many small things that when you look back and see the path that God led us on to get here (when we started to look to Him to lead us instead of blindly leading ourselves).... God's path is just.... WOW.

I thank God for bringing Steve into my life. I love him more than is humanly possible. I love the kids like they were my own. They have a great mother and I only hope that I will be a worthy step-mom.

To paraphrase from one of our favorite movies, Bolt:
God is "FULLY AWESOME!"
