Our story remains as special and true as our love for each other. I used to laugh when people talked about “fairy tale love” and “having that one special person out there”. Never was I a romantic, and Eric will tell you the same. However, if you ask us know, some 4 years later, we can tell you that these thoughts have changed since meeting each other.
As many of you know, Eric and I went to the same high school, but never really knew each other while in school. It wasn’t until after we both graduated, and I began working at Village Sunoco that we were really able to connect. Yes, you are right in your thinking…Eric and I fell in love at Village SunocoJ Although, it took him a few attempts, he finally asked me out. I like to joke with him in that it was all worth the nervousness because in the end he got the girl.
It didn’t take long for us to realize that our fun and flirty friendship was turning into something much larger than either one of us originally intended. I am now a strong believer that when you stop looking, love will find you, and that God has a plan for you. Eric and I were brought together for reasons larger than either of us will ever know.
You may have noticed on this site, our invitation, and even at the wedding that there is a common theme. You will see the words “You*Me*Us” as this saying is very special to Eric and I. This is a something that we share with one another as a reminder of our love, appreciation, and commitment. You*Me*Us is a vow that we have been making almost daily for many years now.
Eric and I make sure we always thank each other, and never take each other for granted. We have built a strong and wonderful relationship, and are very excited to continue growing with one another. We are also very excited to continue this growth with family and friends on May 24th as we vow to love each other unconditionally for all eternity, and in front of everyone that is so dear to us. |
