We met through a mutual friend. Our first date was a 2010 Birthday dinner for Denie at Olive Garden. Our second date, which would've occured sooner if only Rena had given Denie her real telephone number, was a few weeks later at a Jazz in the Park event. Our first memorable and wonderful kiss was after our second dinner date at the same Olive Garden near Oakey & Decatur Blvd in Las Vegas.

We've been inseparable since Rena's return from a Texas trip to visit her daughter Jara at University of Texas and to watch a Cowboys football game with her sister Robbie & best friend Cindy.

Rena accepted Denie's marriage proposal the evening of January 4, 2011. We have been living together ever since.

Our wedding eve dinner (immediate family only) will be 6pm Saturday April 21 at a Rena family favorite, the historic original Las Vegas steak house; Bob Taylor's Original Ranch House & Supper Club ( http://www.bobtaylorsranchhouse.com/ ) They will serve us choice of appetizers, meats, desserts, and drink as well as salad, backed potato, and Denie's favorite - yummy cheesy garlic bread; just like Mom used to make! There is a bar, however, it will be "cash & carry." We anticipate this to be a great time and space for our families to casually meet each other before our big day.

We will be married in an outdoor morning ceremony at The Grove ( http://www.the-grove.com/directions_to_the_grove ) near our home in Las Vegas. The ceremony is scheduled for 10:30, Sunday, April 22, 2012 to be followed immediately by an hour and a half indoor reception to include a breakfast buffet.

We are excited to be leaving immediately the evening of our wedding enroute to our all inclusive honeymoon at Sugar Bay in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, USA. Rena is anxious to catch some big fish. Denie is anxious to relax on the warm beach.
